This book is divided into 2 parts, the present and the past, Lena tries to overcome the loss.

In the past,  was found by Reven the savage land, they reven the care and takes her to one of the homes of disabled persons that are underground.

The present Lena is part of the resistance, is on a mission with Rreven in new york, in this book we find Julian Fineman the son of Thomas Fineman merica without delusions President...

My personal opinion:

This book is from the perspective of Hana, best friend of Lena, a person who always has everything he wants, your parther will bethe son of the mayor Fred Hargrove, Hana spent his summer in clandestine parties,dating guys, breach the law... until she discovers that her friend Lena has been infected from nervous delusions by Alex a member of the resistance.

The second book of Lauren Oliver "Delirium", was published in January 2011.

Is love a disease?

The protagonist, "Lena Haloway" has to make a difficult decision, heal from nervous delusions, or listen to your heart...

Lauren Oliver novel transports us to an America full of disputes between people curedfrom nervous delusions (love) and the uncured or disabled persons and wild. This is thestory of Lena Hallowey, with almost the age of majority wants to be cured as soon as possible from nervous delusions, in this book we find deceit, "sincere" friendship, love,rebellion by a world in which you can choose between love and healing...
